British Airways (BA) Has Became The First Airline To Move All Its Operations To Beijing's New Daxing Airport. Beijing's New Daxing Airport Is One Of The Engineering Marvels To Look Out For. 

British Airways Will Be Moving All Its Direct Flights To And From Heathrow From October 27. The Airport Is Still Awaited To be Open In September This Year. Initially, The Airport Would Be Offering 4 Runways And One Terminus While In The Future 3 More Runways And One More Terminal Would Be Added.

The Move Would Strengthen The Code-share Agreement Between China Southern And British Airways. According To AirlineRatings, China Southern Would Also Be Based In The Airport.

Apart From British Airways And China Southern Airlines, Some Other Foreign Carriers Have Indicated That They Would Also Move Some Of Their Overseas Operations To Daxing Airport. They Include LOT Polish Airlines And FinnAir.


The Airport Would offer Great Transportation Systems, The Airport Would Be linked by Rail Link System.

BA executive vice president Greater China and the Philippines Noella Ferns says;
Not only will the new airport offer our customers flying to and from Beijing a world-class experience, with state-of-the-art facilities including an improved lounge for our Club World and First customers; but it will also support our ambition to increase leisure and business travel between China and the UK.
