Amid All Critics And All, Garuda Indonesia Has Finally Withdrawn Of The Proposal Of Banning In-Flight Photos And Videos. The Decision Was Ruled Out After All The Critics Garuda Indonesia Faced. And After All, In Today's World A Rumour Gets Spread Easily & While The Hard-work Some Bloggers Put Takes Very Lots Of Time And Many A Time Are Neglected.

The Rumours Came Into Stake, When Famous Travel Blogger Rius Fernandes, Posted A Photos And Videos On His Instagram Showing A Hand-Written Menu, Saying That This Was The Menu For Business Class Passengers.

Garuda On Twitter, However Explained That The Note Was Meant For Flight Attendants And Not Passengers.

Later, An Directive Of The Airline Said Flight Attendants Not To Allow Passengers Taking Selfies And Videos. While, Posting Photos And Videos Has Been Very Popular, This Questioned Garuda's Policies.

After All This, Garuda Said That The Directive Was An Internal Document Which Was Never Finalised And Had Been Revised to make clear it was just appealing to passengers to respect the privacy of other passengers and flight crew on duty when taking photos.

Fernandes did not respond to a request for comment but told his Instagram followers he had received an apology from the airline over the service on the flight. But in a later post, he said both he and his fiance had been reported to police for alleged defamation over the post.

This appeal is also based on reports, suggestions and input from customers/passengers who feel uncomfortable and disturbed by the shooting and documentation of activities without prior permission.
