Luck Is Not On The Hand Of Ethiopian Airlines At The Current Time. Ethiopian Airlines Had Already Faced A Boeing 737 Max Crash in The Previous Months. Yesterday, An Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 767 Faced A Engine Failure Which Led  The Pilot Bring Down The Aircraft Back To Runway.



During A Climb Out Of Blaise Diagne International Airport, The Aircraft Was Faced With A Right Engine Failure. Passengers Reported A Loud Bang With Smoke Pouring Into The Cabin Shortly After. Following Indications And Appropriate Checklists, The Pilots Halted The Climb At 2500 Feet And Returned to The Airport.




The Aircraft Is Registered As ET-AMG And Was Operating As Flight Number ET 908, The Engine Which Failed Was A Pratt & Whitney PW4062. The Flight Had 90 Passengers Onboard At The Time Of This Accident And Was Bound To Bamako. Upon Reaching The Runway The Aircraft Was Later On Checked By Emergency Services.

This Is The Fourth Incident With This Aircraft, All The Previous Incidents Were:-

  • The Aircraft Performed A High-Speed Rejected Take-Off
  • The Aircraft Faced Fuselage Damage
