Flight Travel Is One Of The Luxury That Human Beings Enjoy A Lot. We, Travellers, Feel Like The King Or Queen With The Air Hostess Moving Around Us Serving Us Drinks, Food And Greeting Us With Aristocratic Titles. But, Can You Believe That There Are Some Airlines Which Don't Greet You With The Traditional 'Sir' & 'Madam'.

So Taking In A Practical Example, You Are Boarding On A Flight, And The Flight Attendant Just Standing Beside The Food Cabinet Doesn't Even Greet You By Saying "Welcome Onboard!, Sir". What Would Be Your Impression On That Airline? Would You Ever Like To Have Another Flight With The Airline? Be Honest With You And The Answer Will Be No, Unless You Are The Owner Of The Airliner.

One Of The Major Airlines Of The World Has Implemented Such Type Of A Rule. The Airline Is Air Canada. Also To Mention That Air Canada Is A 4 Star Airliner. Recently Air Canada Announced That Crew Members Would Use The Terms 'Everybody' & 'tout le monde'. Although, This Rule Would Be Affecting Only To Scripted Greetings, The Once Said While Briefing About The Flight Details And Not The Once While Serving Food And Other Accommodations.

Air Canada Says;
We will be amending our onboard announcements to modernize them and remove specific references to gender. We work hard to make sure all employees feel like valued members of the Air Canada family, while ensuring our customers are comfortable and respected when they choose to travel with us.
